Inside the Eden Alley ResurantSeeking scrumptious vegetarian eats in Kansas City? Eden Alley is the answer to your prayers. Housed in the bottom half of a Unity church, Eden Alley is a warm, inviting, Earth-friendly café that serves up heavenly vegetarian fare.

Using local and organic ingredients, chef and co-owner Sandi Corder-Clootz prides herself on creating vegetarian dishes “for people with a palate for really terrific-tasting food.” Menu faves that make customers rave include the veggie burger, sweet potato burrito, TVP tacos, and barbecue-tofu plate.

For lighter cuisine, consider ordering something from the garden at Eden. Adam’s Side, a simple salad served with a red wine vinaigrette, and the Garnets and Greens salad, a delightful combination of mixed greens, beets, candied walnuts, red onions, and poppy seed dressing, are both sinfully delicious. And since it’s Eden, give into temptation and try the Apple Cranberry salad without the feta.

If you’re looking for a restaurant with out-of-this-world food and a down-to-earth philosophy, Eden Alley is just for you. Operating under the principle that “conducting a profitable business in ways that are sensitive to the environment is the only way to do business,” Eden Alley is committed to keeping a green kitchen and uses only environmentally safe paper products, packaging, and cleansers.
