Exploring, Imbibing, and Indulging at Zenith Tea Room

Shopping for a good deal? While picking out a collectible or antique at Zenith Antiques, also pick up the menu at the in-store restaurant. Creative cuisine, extra-large servings, and modest prices will satisfy even the most discriminating customer.

Zenith Tea Room in Pittsburgh's historic South Side offers a wide variety of vegetarian selections, most of which will be made vegan upon request. They've got a mean "meatball" sandwich-faux meatballs topped with marinara and tofu-basil crème and served on a crusty baguette. If you like to walk on the spicier side, try the Tex Mex Lasagna-layers of beans, vegetables, tofu, and tortillas are finished off with cilantro crème dressing. With a new menu every week, there's always something new to try.

"I came looking for Fiestaware and found tasty and delicious vegan fare, too," said Jennifer Brown, who highly recommends Zenith Tea Room's scrumptious Sunday brunch.

The award-winning brunch includes a buffet laden with salads, fruits, breads, and pastries.

Zenith also boasts a wide selection of beverages-more than 100 varieties of tea, fresh lemonade, fruit smoothies, and soy milkshakes. You can also bring your own wine.

Best of all, there is always at least one vegan dessert option on the menu. The vegan Piña Colada Rice Pudding and chocolate mousse both come highly recommended.
