Best Veggie Sandwich in a Restaurant Chain

1. Subway Veggie Delite
Subway Veggie Delite22,000+ locations worldwide
The fast-food chain with the most locations in North America is also a marvelous destination for those who want to eat a healthy and tasty veggie sandwich made the way you want it. You can even double up on your veggies in the Veggie Delite without being charged more. And by the way, the sweet onion sauce is vegan!

1,750+ locations nationwide
Although not available at all Blimpie’s locations, the Max line of sandwiches offers a definite treat when you can find it. The VegiMax is a mix of mushrooms, water chestnuts, onions, carrots, green and red peppers, and black olives. The MexiMax contains black beans, peppers, and spices. The ChikMax is a tasty, soy-based chicken substitute. Be sure to get them all with both hot and sweet peppers!

3. Quiznos Veggie
Quiznos Veggie3,500+ locations nationwide
Subway better watch out for Quiznos because the chain is definitely an up-and-comer that’s threatening Subway’s status as the “go to” vegetarian fast-food selection. Quiznos offers vegetarian diners some delicious perks, including freshly sautéed vegetables and oh-so-good guacamole—and don’t even get us started on the delicious toasted bread.

See the Best of the Rest.
