Best Vegetarian ‘Chicken’

1. Boca
Boca Chik 'n PattiesIf you haven’t tried Boca Chik’n Patties yet, stop reading now and go to the store to buy some. These faux chicken patties are pure heaven on a bun, with or without lettuce, sliced tomato, and a dab of Vegenaise. Try sneaking them to your chicken-eating friends and family to see if you can fake them out! Also try the delicious Boca Chik’n Nuggets with your favorite barbecue sauce. With patties and nuggets that will satisfy even the most die-hard carnivore, Boca is a chicken’s best friend. This just in: Boca has announced that it will be reformulating its Spicy Chik’n Patties to be vegan, as well. Yahoo for Boca!

Gardenburger BBQ Chik’n2. Gardenburger
Our panel loves Gardenburger’s BBQ Chik’n—it makes for a delicious barbecue faux chicken sandwich and goes great with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. Gardenburger’s Herb Crusted Chicken Patty is fantastic with pizza sauce splashed on top along with some garlic bread on the side. Another option is to dice up the patty and fry it in olive oil with mushrooms and olives to make an Italian faux chicken sandwich.

Nate’s BBQ Chicken Burger3. Nate’s
Nate’s Miteybites BBQ Chicken Burger is great right out of the microwave. Nate’s Chicken Style Meatless Nuggets also do the trick in a sandwich or with your favorite dip.
