“Go vegetarian!” Is the Battle Cry This Cinco de Mayo
On May 5, 1862, the Mexican army stopped the French in their
tracks at the Battle of Puebla, and the joyous celebration of Cinco de
Mayo was born! As we celebrate this Cinco de Mayo, remember that life
is no fiesta for animals who are raised and killed for food. Fortunately,
it’s easy to make delicious vegetarian enchiladas, burritos, and
other traditional favorites. These great-tasting, plant-based party recipes
spare animals from suffering and help you fight the Battle of the Bulge.
